I think it's two separate jackets. He wore the same jacket in NSTAV, Fever, and LLF: it's a Hause of Howe "Bobby Frock" jacket. (MyImmortal found this info--and owns one of that jacket, too, lucky woman.) It has no epaulets. The one with epaulets may very well be another Howe jacket. He had at least two, maybe 3 Howe jackets. I'm pretty sure the jacket he wore to San Diego ComicCon was a Howe. They frequently have interesting touches, like that pocket in the back, and embroidery.

Yeah that smile after the kiss was adorable, but I did always wonder how the keys fell so far under the car - all the better to stretch out those long arms to retrieve them
