BBM Convention news, pics & highlights

I can't believe I forgot to mention the Body Politic showing with Jason. Please don't anyone every rely on me to bring back info or gossip - I clearly suck.

I really enjoyed Body Politic and it was great to watch it with Jason, Jordan, Francis and Jason's wife. He said it was the first time he'd seen it too. I thought it had great potential but it's definitely not a CW show. I'm really hoping it gets picked up somewhere as I could see myself tuning in every week. Jason was by far the best thing in it.

Christy, thanks very much for your con report--stories like yours do so much to bring the event to life for those of us who weren't able to go. It sounds like it was worth it, even though there were definitely elements that weren't great. I guess that's like life, huh? Bless the guys for being so wonderful. I know exactly what you mean about being a fan of Jordan for life...he is truly warm, genuine, and an extremely good, thoughtful, intelligent actor. Plus he's gorgeous and an all-around nice guy! I love the pix of him dancing and having fun at the party.

I loved your description of meeting Jason! I had a similar experience with forgetting everything Jason said to me (and probably sounding like a complete idiot, to boot!) when I gave him a copy of my Fated to Pretend sonnets at the Gala. I know he said nice things to me, and he actually stood up to take the booklet from my hands--but it's all a wonderful blur. I just remember him looking right into my soul. Wow, that guy has a penetrating gaze, and when he's looking at you, you feel as if you're the only person in the universe.

Your pictures are wonderful--I'm thrilled that you got to do some sightseeing while you were there. Thanks so much for sharing!
