I don't frequent the video offices much, but I had to watch this one because redwinter devoted a drabble to it. And of course it's beautiful. 100% Mick. I loved the music. I like Annie Lennox but wasn't familiar with this melancholy song. Do you have the lyrics somewhere as I didn't get them?
The pace of the video and the cuts are fitting very nicely with the music. Wonderful work.

The whole song just works for Mick. I originally thought of using this song to a MickCora vid but it actually worked better as a stand alond Mick vid. The song was used in the soundtrack for Bram Stoker's Dracula.

Oh, coco... thank you for making this beautiful video to my very favorite vampire song. I love Annie Lennox's voice so much, and the poetry of this song is absolutely heartbreakingly beautiful--and so perfect for Mick. You chose such apt scenes and cut them so well with the music--the song and the scenes really do fit just right. I don't know how to make videos so I don't understand the technical aspects of what you do, but I know when something works, and your video works so well. Thank you. And thank you also for inspiring that jewel of a drabble by Redwinter101. It's a fitting tribute to this beautiful piece of yours.

I had never heard of the song til a few weeks ago.
I watched the vid with Annie Lennox singing it with scenes from the movie indispersed through it.
And I much preferred yours, Coco.
I think Josef gives Mick to much of a hard time.

I've just watched this again, three times in a row. I've never seen the movie that it was a part of (I wasn't interested in vampires much before Mick and Josef came along). There's another one from a different artist to the same song on You Tube that goes more towards the MickBeth bond, but yours features Mick and only Mick and it's great.
I love Annie Lennox since she was part of the Eurythmics, and then she sang that lovely song for Lord of the Rings. Her slow ballads are the best.

This vid has very quickly become one of my favourites and one of the best I've made I think. It all just seemed to work.

And for the inspired drabble. It was just perfect.

What did I tell you Claire??? Nothing that features this man can turn out bad or mediocre, he is a class act all the way.
I've never been anything but an AOL fanatic fan since the first time I saw him and I always will be. Mick St. John is the ultimate vampire.
I knew you would do the best possible job!! So glad that little banner inspired you and then you inspired me to make the wallpaper. See, only good things happen when he's involved. I keep telling everyone who will listen, he is a Magic Man.
Uh.....that would be a good video. I wrote a whole fic around that song!!

I've made a few vids now and I actually think this one wouldn't have worked if I'd attempted it before now. I'm better with the editing and cutting of scenes after so many vids and everything just fell into place with this one and it obviously helps that I'm such a Mick girl at heart. I'm over the moon with the postive reaction it's gotten.

As for Red's drabble - I'm ecstatic that my little vid inspired it.
