I'm so impressed that you remembered it! I confess that I have very little memory of my high school chemistry class, aside from the gorgeous magenta color of the acid-base detector chemical phenolphthalein. And that's more because of the pretty color than the chemical itself. (Yeah, I'm not really a STEM person. )

I loved the chemistry experiments with vivid color changes and (small) explosions! It was so disillusioning to discover how rare those were. Generally we'd have a clear liquid in the beginning and an identical looking clear liquid at the end. And the prof would say, "but on a molecular level, many exciting changes have occurred!"

Hmmm....opposite problem so far on this one. So many Moonlighty bl words to choose from.

Awesome softball stats for your granddaughter!! I remember softball in school. I'm not sure I ever managed to even hit the ball. I was so bad at it I would request to go run laps instead.

I was the same way--I have an odd medical condition that makes it very hard for me to track fast-moving objects, and I got hit by baseballs quite a few times before I waved the white flag and stopped trying to play. But it's lots of fun to cheer for my granddaughters.
