). For this story, I researched Babe Ruth, his height as compared to Lou Gehrig, the pitcher who was pitching in the World Series when Babe called his homerun shot, and even the phase of the moon on 10/31/1932
, but inexplicably, I did not research Italian sports cars in 1932. I had it in my mind that the car was a Bugatti -- only to find out that, despite the name, Bugatti is a French car.
Oh, well. I do like the idea of an Alfa Romeo. Maybe....

I've been meaning to read this story for over a week, but things got so crazy that I didn't have time. So finally tonight I got to do it, and I'm so glad I did. I just love it so much. Mick as an almost 10 year old kid is already so much like he would turn out to be, and his voice in this story is wonderful. And oh, your portrayal of Josef in 1932 is just...
