Heard this on public radio this morning, and those lovely people have a nice transcript and streaming audio on the web.

A long discussion with several authors, including Justin Cronin, author of the new vampire novel, "The Passage." Personally I don't necessarily agree with his viewpoint on vamps, but it's still interesting.
