I've been reading the Remy Chandler novels and I don't care what the cover art looks like, in my mind's eye, Remy looks like un-vamped Mick. (Remy is a Boston P.I. and a Seraphim who left Heaven for Earth. He doesn't age but his wife, the great love of his life, does. And he has a great dog named Marlowe. I am so addicted that I'm trying to slow down and ration the pages I'm reading so I don't finish the last two books too soon.
