Oh that's an interesting thought. I just assumed that all the team members run/do all the obstacles on the course, and they combine times for the score or similar. But I suppose it's possible that they divide up the obstacles among the team members, playing to their strengths. One might be better at climbing and another at the mud pit. Guess we'll have to see.Lilly wrote:If you look at the Tough Mudder website, there are over 30 events scheduled all of the world for this year. My guess is that any given team would only participate in a handful of events, and even then not all of the members would be involved in each one. I do see that there's an event in Hawaii listed for 2013, but the details aren't available yet.
So how do you suppose one trains for these obstacles? Are there places to practice walking across a narrow beam over a pit of water?
