This is a perfect example of what I love about writing ML fic. There are so many opportunities to slip into the moments between.

My very first attempts at writing ML was to fill in those pesky commercial gaps. I love, love, love, what you've done here Lucky.

Great Prologue to the Show, I could "see" it happening!

I absolutely love this. Has anyone tackled those last several hours before Beth and Mick first meet before? I'm not sure! If not, it's about time!

This fits so perfectly with the tone of the show, that I can see it actually being written and shot for the first episode, but edited for time before the episode aired. Well, done, my dear.

Bravo, Lucky! I love everything you've done with the food -- Beth is spicy, while Josh is bland and predictable. The fortunes they received are perfect.

Gosh, it's been a long time since I read this one! I love this little peek at Beth's and Josh's relationship before Mick entered the picture (well, at least overtly entered it... I love Beth's little prayer to her guardian angel... and it looks like her hand WAS guided to pick the appropriate fortune cookie!).

Glad you bumped this, Alle! It was like reading it for the first time. Beth needed something more that what Josh was offering - she just wasn't sure what, yet. She'll find out soon!
