SBJ & Luna: Thanks for commenting, glad you enjoyed. Yep, I think this set of stories says it all myself. Sorry Josh had to die, I'm sure there was a nice woman out there for him -- but it wasn't Beth.

Just came by for a reread.

Beth is quick on her feet. The best defense is a good offense here!

Nicely done, Cat!

Thanks!

This girl sure can handle the men around her, but for an ADA Josh seemed rather.. inadequate in this one  ..When Mick realizes his shirt is missing, will she be able to handle...him? Don't think so, don't think so..

:rolling: :rolling: :rolling: What a hoot!

Go Beth! She definitely has a good offense. She spun the whole situation around. :notworthy:
“It better not!” she warned. “And to save you further embarrassment, we won’t speak of this ever again.”

“Okay. Thanks.”
:coffee: Josh is no match for clever Beth.

Thank you, Cat Moon! :rose:

If you deal with kids a lot, I know for a fact that you get really good at redirection. Maybe sometime in her past, she spent some time working in a school or kindegarten. She has definitely got the skills down!

And they seem to work with Josh very, very well.

Pay attention, Josh. Could be useful when cross examining a hostile witness...

Just sayin'

Thanks again, Cat! Fabulous, fabulous job!

Jenna

However did I miss this little gem all these years?? :chin: Loved it! Beth is sure quick on her feet. Josh was so stunned I think he forgot he was a lawyer! Have to go find this sequel, now.

Thanks for the bump, Maggatha!

This one is due for a reread. SO entertaining - I smiled all the way through. Josh never had a chance.

Now off to read it from Mick's POV... :reading:
