Knots
This was a word challenge over at the BWP to write something about the word „knot“.

She had a way of nestling her hands into the room around his neck that made him shiver with anticipation. Standing on her toes, she was so near, her face only a breath away from his, but he couldn’t touch. She had threatened him often enough if he tried.

Slowly she closed the noose around his head and adjusted it below his collar. He searched for her eyes, but she was busy smoothing his lapel and brushing her hands across his chest in a move that was entirely too erotic for his peace of mind.

„I can’t breathe.“ he complained.
„Is the knot too tight?“ she asked anxiously.
He smiled. „No. You take my breath away, Sara.“

He fastened his hands around her middle and swirled her around.
„Let’s go, Charles.“ she said, always the rational one. „We’re already late for the ball.“

He was the happiest man on earth.

The Diary

Answer to the "between the lines" drabble challenge by Librarian_7.

„You should have this.“

I give him the diary that contains secrets he never was meaning to tell. Sara saw through him even after a few months. Through her eyes and with what he told us today I can clearly see that this old young man, is much more than meets the eye. He usually hides emotions behind a mask of indifference, sarcasm and aggressiveness, but Sara knew him, his vulnerability and his utter hunger for life and connectedness. And she wanted to give him the companion he needed to be complete. He needs to know.

„She really loved you.“

These Muscles

Drabble from OOTP (You remember Bobby Desmond?)
A Between-the-lines drabble.

„These muscles. How do you stay so fit?“
„You know, diet…“
„Give me some of that.“

Give you my diet of blood and despair and desire? A diet of hiding your true nature, staying alone? It’s a diet your soul would starve on.
I won’t subject you to that, it would be cruel. Your darkness now is at least temporary. You are blind, Bobby, in more ways than one.
All you get from this diet is muscles. Eternal youth. If you weren’t blind I already would have given you up. I lose you anyway.

„Take care.“ „You take care, Bobby.“

These are all good francis, but These Muscles really is fantastic.
It oozes with Mick's despair and sadness.

Thank you, Fleur. I always adored the Bobby friendship. It conveyed very early in the show, even before Beth knew about Mick, that it was impossible for Mick to keep friends with a human. It made his isolation so clear. And it was dangerous, Beth almost found out because of the inconsistencies of Mick and his "father".

Francis,

These are fabulous.

Very brief *as is the nature of a drabble) yet filled with such poignancy and each so full of meaning.

Lovely!

Thank you!

Jenna
