This is a moment that had to take place between these two, if there is EVER to be any kind of future between Lucky and Josef..... Mick and Beth are just too much a part of Josef's life. Beautifully written and so true to Beth's character and the character of Lucky you have created for us. :heart: :heart: :heart:

Their conversation was so awkward to begin with, but neither of them really has anyone else they can talk to about their respective vampires. I'm hopeful they have moved past their first somewhat painful meeting. Each can give the other some much needed insight and perspective on the man they love. Their relationships with their guys are difficult, dangerous, and complicated (but worth it!).

As always, Lucky, you portray the emotions of the characters so well.

I don't know what the first version was, Lucky, but this was delightful.

Lucky,

You have such a lovely ability to create the perfect amount of tension, color, and depth with your stories. You reveal just enough to tell a wonderful story and retain just enough to let us know that there was more said and done that we are not privledge to. You continue to create a complex portrait of Lucky, full of mystery and richness.

I really enjoyed this, Lucky. Just the right mix of new friendship and awkwardness - bonded by a common realisation that their respective vampires are still just men. :roll:

Thanks so much, folks...I did want to see if I could write something that on the face of it...a couple of ladies sitting down over lunch..was not so dramatic, but make it interesting. I'm pleased to see that you think I managed!
