Thanks, ladies :ghug:

The magic of Christmas through a child's eyes is timeless. The gift Beth gave her guardian angel was so much more than her work of art in the snow, the gift of hope.

Hope all your Christmases were merry and bright and may your new year be one of hope and love!

I remember reading this story years ago and loving it. Such a treat to have a re-read. It's wonderful seeing the Christmas tree and Beth's guardian angel through little Beth's eyes. And so magical and rare for her to have that inch of snow in L.A. to make her snow angel with! This is an enchanting Christmas story. :hearts:

It's not Christmas at MLA without "A Snow Angel for Christmas," is it? :hearts: :tree: I love rereading this darling story. :rose:

Such a beautiful story. I particularly love how little Beth knows better than her mama that guardian angels sometimes show themselves but knows better than to say so.

The story also shows Mick at his best, one of the reasons we love him... his self sacrifice and longing for the warmth of belonging.

Thanks DSR!

Thanks so much, ladies :ghug:

Beth's innocence is the key to the story...Christmas through the eyes of a child is something we could all learn from. Still, she knows there are monsters out there, but she also knows she has her own personal guardian angel looking over her.

What a lovely re-read. It's wonderful how Beth had made her plan to make the angel, just in case there was snow. It's such a very Beth thing to do. A beautiful story!
