This was just incredible. The signifigance of the following line struck my heart....
Until Beth. Lying here, together, safe, alone, the memories of their first meeting still clutched at him. There had been others, each rescue, each saved soul adding a tiny building block of self-respect, feeding his resolve to go on. But it was the trust of a child in him, only in him, always in him, that changed everything. His yearning for life was grounded in her. Without her he might have been content to continue hiding, keeping himself separate, finding pleasure where he could. But for her he rediscovered the battered remnants of humanity; for her he trapped himself between two worlds; for her he tried to be enough.
Beautiful Red.. :hankie: Stop making me cry, it's ruining my make-up... :teeth:

Oh. My.

What everyone else said!!! That was so very lovely.

What a talent you have, Red. You take the magic that was Moonlight, that so enthralled and enchanted us, distill in into words and in the process increase the impact.

Each time I read one of your fics, I say to myself that you have outdone yourself and will never be able to top THAT--but somehow you always do.

I have tried to analyze your writing, as it is so very good but it defies the creation of a formula to make it repeatable. It is magic and mystery, soul and passion.

You have done it again, and I am not surprised any longer.

(Kinda gushy isn't it? Yeah, well. Its GUSHWORTHY!)

 :hearts:  :hearts: I'm kind of a loss for words at the moment.

I don't know how I missed this so far, but thanks to the Coffee House I've found it.

I love it. Thank you Red! :smooch:

Yeah, I like this one.

I've always loved that image of Mick mapping Beth's body. *swoon*
She turned, a soft caress to his cheek, feeling his smile curve against her palm.
Still my favourite line.

And yet another little masterpiece...I say "little" only in terms of number of words.

This is...an accomplishment.

Came back for a reread through the Coffee House.

Stunningly lovely. Lovely bits of backstory, blended with an explanation of Mick that is absolutely the best.

Mick-whisperer, indeed.

I still love this with all my heart. I only didn't choose anything by red because I could never restrict myself to just one.
It's electrical, and it makes me cry. :rose:
