Moonlight Product Placement
Other than furnishings, which have their own thread, many other cool items that were used on Moonlight were tracked down by intrepid fan detectives. Here are a few to get this thread started. Please feel free to add more if you have information.
It would be most helpful to show the item in use on the show, using a screencap, for example, and (if you have one) a picture of the item from a catalog, etc.
Mick's jacket, worn in Ep. 4, Fever, and Ep. 11, Love Lasts Forever, is a Howe Bobby Frock 3-button blazer.
Beth's brown safari shirt with belt, worn in Fever, is made by Bebe. A pink one in the same style was used in promotional photographs.
Mick's car is a 1967 Mercedes 250SE Cabriolet convertible, dark green with tan upholstery. (Edited on 2/5/2011, to correct the year of the car, after it was listed on eBay.)
eBay link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... vi-content
Mick's computer is a Dell Inspiron 1720 17" laptop.
His monitor is a Dell Ultrasharp 2009W 20" widescreen flat panel.
Mick's cell phone is an Apple iPhone 8GB.
Mick's watch is a Panerai Luminor Marina.

I love information about this kind of stuff. It's all part of the aesthetics of production and how characters are thoughtfully built and defined. SO important! Thank you, allegrita! This is SO majorly cool!

Re: Moonlight Product Placement
Mick's watch (well, one like it) is on sale! Originally $6200, this gently used one is only $3750. Cheap, huh?!
http://portero.com/panerai-sale/panerai ... watch.html
From the Quick Overview:
Panerai has become a widely recognized brand name among serious collectors and enthusiasts. Its complication and design has not changed much since the early 1900s when Panerai supplied timepieces to the Royal Italian Navy. With a credited history and background in the armed forces, it is very safe to say that a Panerai is built to last. This gentleman's Panerai Luminor Marina Automatic timepiece, reference PAM48, is the quintessential example of a gentleman's timepiece. A large round 40mm stainless steel case surrounds the black dial that houses the date display with magnifying lens and seconds register. The exterior of the case displays the signature locking crown cover with quick set date function. A pair of silver and luminescent hands marks the 21 jewel automatic Panerai OP III caliber movement, which is shown through the painted luminescent stick indicators and Arabic numerals as markers. Finishing this piece is the original Panerai black leather bracelet and stainless steel double folding clasp. This circa 2002 watch is in excellent condition with minor scuffing on the case and case back.

Re: Moonlight Product Placement
There used to be a posting on VLF that had pictures of the refrigerator, the chairs and lots of other things frim the FOS, plus some clothing of Mick and Beth's. I thought myimmortal might have been responsible for it. I posted a few things on it. I'll see if I can dig up a few I added to it.

I don't think that thread is there anymore--at least, I couldn't find it. Yes, MyImmortal did start it.
ETA: Please note that there is a separate thread for furnishings. viewtopic.php?f=397&t=2562
This thread is for other items from the show.

Re: Moonlight Product Placement
I love manly watches and Mick's is great one.
Off-topic, does anyone know what kind of watch Alex wore to J-Lo's (was it a birthday?) party? He looked so sharp.

Mick wore Persol sunglasses in Click and they are the same model as James Bond wore in Casino Royale. I forget the model number. Last time I checked they still sell them. They come in black and brown.

Mick wore Rockin Republic jeans (not sure what model) in several episodes including this scene from AD
They also come in women's sizes so you can have your own pair but your wallet will be lighter about 250 bucks or so.

Re: Moonlight Product Placement
There was some discussion in the All About Mick thread re Mick's sunglasses in NSTAV (the prof's office) and Fever:
They are by Blinde. They don't make this model any more; the closest in their current range is "Harm's Way". Here's a pic:
