For any of our members on here who can't get into the board to see the information I've just posted there...

Proboards are aware of an issue with those who are using Internet Explorer browser. There are actually two different URLS you can use to access the Proboards Sites. One contains a server number, the other is numberless. If you have the Site bookmarked with the old server number included web address, IE isn't liking this and is continually redirecting the bookmark.

From Miss Adventure on Proboards Support Board.

If you have bookmarked the old "number" url it's redirecting the site. If you update your bookmark to the new "numberless" url it seems to have no trouble connecting you.

I open a new tab and click on the old link and it just reloads again and again. If I open a new tab with the new link it's working fine.

May want to just update your links. Again it only seems to be affecting Internet Explorer.

The numberless URL for the forum is...

http://moonlightvampsisters.proboards.com/index.cgi

If you are still having issues, PM me on here and I will see what I can find out.

Yes, that would be me. I updated the bookmark, and now it's fine. (I didn't even know I was using an old one...). Thanks!

Awesome! Glad it worked :smooch:

For anyone who is still having issues, and can't access the site.

Remove all bookmarks to the site from your browser, and then rebookmark it with the numberless URL, and try also removing the /index.cgi portion...

so make it just...

http://moonlightvampsisters.proboards.com

See if if that works. If it doesn't, download Mozilla Firefox and use that as your browser. This is apparently an issue with the way Internet Explorer is handling the address and doesn't affect Firefox.
