Re: The Invisible (with Alex) airing on FX

I watched this movie awhile ago. I actually liked the lead actor (who played the teenage boy) better than Alex in this, although this is totally opposite to Mick. Alex did a really good acting job but I totally was turned off by the skin head look. I know that and all the tats are a turn-on to some but not to me. Thanks Wondergirl for identifying the actor who played the teenage boy. His name is Justin Chatwin, and while I originally thought he might be young enough to be my grandson, he is actually only one year younger than my youngest daughter so at least that doesn't seem quite as weird. I am not following his career but found it interesting that he was born on Halloween.

Alex does have a much more significant role in this movie than he did in August Rush. I just so disliked the character that I couldn't get past that. That's in contrast with the role he played in Criminal Minds where he actually made a serial killer sympathetic.

I think that the point was, we were SUPPOSED to dislike his character. He was a very bad man, and not even a particularly good criminal. But I still found him hot. While totally disapproving of Marcus's moral standards, of course.

Awesome avatar by the awesome, clever, and gracious Lilly.

If you read a lot of books you are considered well read. But if you watch a lot of TV, you're not considered well viewed. Lilly Tomlin

Grateful to Alex for Mick, Andy, and McG. :)

BUP has also been running on one of the Showtime channels this week.

Alex's comedic side comes through in this movie, especially in the birthing scene :rolling:
