Hi Moonlightaholics, :howdy:

Just a little note to say that I will be traveling to London between Monday, October 16th, and Tuesday, October 24th. I will have a computer with me, and will keep an eye on things as much as I can.

I know I don't even have to ask you to be nice to one another while I'm less available, 'cause you're all awesome. :winky: :ghug:

I'm totally excited--this trip came up unexpectedly, and we've been rushing to get everything ready. Mr. A. and I will be going with my sister and her husband. We'll only be in London for a week, but we've got a bunch planned for those few days. :hyper2: :hyper2:

I'll tell you all about my adventures when I get back! :hearts:

Love,

Allegrita

Ooh, tea at Harrod's!! That sounds pretty amazing. :hearts:  :cupcake: I'll try to make that happen.

Thank you so much for your good wishes. :ghug: I am so excited, we have a bunch of really cool stuff booked already. We're going to see a play, and go to a candlelight concert (Vivaldi's Four Seasons!) at St. Martin-in-the-Fields church in Trafalgar Square. Plus, we're going on a bunch of walking tours, visiting the Tower of London and the Churchill War Rooms, a couple of museums, and Westminster Abbey. And on our last full day in England, we're taking a train to Brighton, and getting a tour of the Royal Pavilion that was built by King George IV at the beginning of the 19th century. It's super opulent, almost over the top in its magnificence. (He was that kind of guy. :snicker: ) But I've always wanted to see it, so I was thrilled when I found out that the sister in law of a friend of mine works there! She does social media for the Pavilion, and she has offered to take Mr. A. and me on a private tour. We are kinda jazzed about it. :hyper: I have a feeling I'm gonna need to sleep for a week when we get back, though... that's a lot to cram into a week!

Holy smokes Alle, you're going to love it!!! Look into see the Jack the Ripper tour. Tons of fun! The host will speak as a real Victorian tour guide. There's only one site that's in it's original state however. Still an awful lot of fun to hear about those infamous crimes. FYI; at the beginning of the Ripper crimes, some thought it the work of.........you guessed it. Vampires!
