One other thing from the first viewing that I meant to mention (and a definite signifier that I should consider a career change to professional shopper  ) - although the tag on Zoe's first date dress was too obscure to read, I recognised the design (of the tag). I know, I know, too much time shopping.

That made the dress very easy to track down - it's by DAY Birger et Mikkelsen:

Oh, my Bob, Red! Well, at least you know you've got a fallback job, just in case. Or should I just go for the obvious and call it a back-up plan?

It's not available any more but I'd estimate about $250-$300.

I wonder how many of them the production bought for the movie....surely two or three (or more)

I'd bet the "or more" option. JLo got pretty dirty in some of those shots and they wouldn't want to wait for cleaning garments.

I am happy to report that grace and I have now seen the movie 6 times!!! (I'm drifting off of her big time)

Yeah, saw it for the second time today--after a lovely lunch, corraled the family into going to see it with me (ain't Mother's Day great?) Mixed reviews on the fam. front---youngest fleurette thought it was terrible and too long, but she is 16 and a royal pain in the behind lately and had decided she didn't like the movie before she even saw it, so, that was to be expected, oldest fleur thought it was okay, and so did the hubby----to all of their credits, we never go to rom-com movies. However, I did note several times that Mr Fleur and Sr. Fleurette were laughing. Jr Fleurette is too cool to be caught laughing.

Also, the theatre had a fairly respectable amount of folks in it, many more than at the original viewing I went to. And man, did these people laugh a lot!

I am terrible b/c the more I view a movie, the more flaws I see, so, this will be my last viewing, until it comes out on dvd. Of course, none of the flaws involved Alex! Oh, and I talked with a manager at the theatre prior to the movie about scoring a BUP poster, and he said to check back in after the film and they could work something out for me.

Guess who forgot all about it??? :slaphead:
Can't be blamed after being in an Alex-induced-lust state for almost 2 hours. He did look divine. That scene where they are walking and he busts her on the price tag, man, does he ever look fabulous in that lighting. :cloud9:

Sr Fleurette and I are both in love with that dress, red and the shoes she wore with it.

I must admit... I did not love that dress... even with Alex fawning all over it. The color didn't do anything for her, I thought, nor did it really show off her figure at its best. Pretty dress... but didn't seem right for JLo...

But Stan liked it enough to ruin it... so there ya go.

:cheer: What I've done when I go into the theater is wonder how many of the other women in there actually know who he is and love him as much as I do. Do they look at me and wonder the same thing? How many of these women are fangirls? And I can't eliminate anyone because of age. All women love Alex, regardless of age. :happysigh: :yahoo:

I went to see the movie today. The people at the theater know my name. The usher taking tickets told me what a great movie it is and how much she loves Alex and JLo.

Another great interview. The interviewer is a bit playful and Alex plays along.
He compares the dog Nuts to Daniel Day Lewis. :rolling:
And he says she's blatantly coming on to him (which she does!). :snicker:

From what he said about the perfect date I almost assume he read my Valentine story... :snicker:
