I guess the reviewers weren't aware of the skill it takes to play a Southerner.

Bing dam O, baby! Southern is very hard to do well... and is almost always slaughtered.
It was beat to absolute death here... General Lee would almost have surrendered just to get em to shut up. :snicker:

Tho Alex got close... he just needed a voice coach. Volunteers?

well, sleep would have been a blessed reward :rolling: compared to the end of this movie.

I made it thru the whole thing, just for the experience :slaphead: (and it wasn't even on my bucket list)

I'm going to Florida this weekend for a cruise. I've never seen Man-thing but it arrived from Netflix. So tell me ladies, should I watch it on the plane, on the ship or in my hotel room in Miami before I leave the country so Immigration doesn't think I have bad taste in movies. :rolling:

:snicker: I've never seen the whole flick... but if it's anything like as bad as people say, I'd recommend watching it in the privacy of your hotel room so you don't have to explain why you're watching such a lame movie. :winky:

 Yeah hide in seclusion to watch this one it really should never see the light of day :snicker: The only reason it did at my house was because of my curiosity to see Alex in a different role.

I have to admit the first time I watched it I painfully watched it to the end...even after Alex was no longer in the pic. I thought what's the harm it can't get any worse can it?....ummm yeah...it can. I even tried to watch it a second time (not in the same day mind you) but once Alex was no longer on my screen with no chance of seeing him again I just shut it off...I already paid my dues...no need to suffer past the "Girly Scream" Alex finishes with "BRAVO!" he sounded just like me if I were to try and watch beyond that point. :rolling:

Well, you could view it as a fan girl badge of honor. Something like...

"I am such a fan of Alex O'loughlin that I watched this really crappy movie just because he's in it".

I'd like to say that but I had to shut it off after the Deputy... OOOPS! I don't want to spoil it for you. :rolling:

I watched Man-Thing this weekend all the way to the end. I've seen worse movies. (I don't know what that says about my taste in cinema but I have seen worse.) The lighting was bad and the accents were worse but I was able to stay mildly interested through the whole thing.

Although I've seen some of the worst movies David Carradine(Evil Toons Think Big, Safari 3000) and Dean Stockwell (Werewolf of Washington, Time Guardian, Dunwich Horror) have ever made so I have a strong stomach for bad movies

:coffee: I even love the bad Monster Movies. I just watched "The Giant Claw" 1957 the monster "bird" effect was so bad it was hysterical. My sis and I can't get enough of these horrible flicks :rolling:
The worse they are the more fun I have watching them. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y0w3FcVe9gc

So Yeah Man Thing is a gem in the realm of BAD movies :snicker:

Or you could wear a T-shirt to Alex' premiers saying "I even watched Man-Thing for you". :rolling:
