NO question; Alex "got" Mick and totally nailed him...

I imagine that he, too, feels he won't always have this same level of perfect one-ness with a character... He's a good actor, but he can't possibly be sooo on the wavelength of every character that he was with Mick...

And Mick IS an amazing character. He just is. Alex breathed life into him, and I have no interest in ever seeing anyone else BE him, but he remains one of THE best conceived and developed tv characters ever...

I'm feeling the same way. I almost felt like I was cheating on Mick when I was drooling over Dr Andy. I don't know why people say ML fans are crazy. But after viewing pictures of my Mick on this thread, I feel much better. No-one will ever replace Mick in my heart.

I'm hoping Alex "gets" Andy too. However - Andy has to have something to "get", before Alex can work his magic. I'm hoping there will be more to Andy than just heart surgery.

Mick is, to me, I'm not speaking for others, like a superhero. He has weaknesses, but he's almost untouchable, yet...he's vulnerable. LOL So complex, that Mick St. John. Mick is romantic and strong, yet gentle. He makes mistakes, but everyone does...you forgive and move on.

He's real...yet....unreal.

Ya know, I really loved the noir... it went so well with Mick's character... was sorry they dumped it... He looked good with all those stripes!
