I know it's meaningless at this point (and I certainly don't want to open any old wounds), but I couldn't help myself -- I had to check out the overnights.
And I'm just a little tickled that our show held its own and even garnered ever-so-slightly
better numbers in terms of millions of viewers than CW's Vampire Diaries.

OMG what an amazing evening you had. I'm living vicariously through you right now so give me a minute. 
Yes, it's a wonderful feeling -- and you just have to wonder how many of them might be experiencing it for the first time. 
And it's true--I think that it was a bigger thrill for me to meet him than to meet the actors, in a lot of ways. It's like meeting Mick and Josef's "daddy" in a way. Such an amaaaazing experience.
