Yeah, I didn't notice before but he's planting a kiss on her cheek. What a loveable co-worker, to greet you with a kiss as you come to work............glad that doesn't happen at my office.............

Looks like Alex maybe got some new glasses....the slightly yellow funky look.

So now on his days off he is dressing like Stan?

He cracks me up, dressing like his guys, whoever he's playing... He really DOES, literally, walk in their shoes... and their shirts and their shades and their jeans... :snicker:

Lavin to play J Lo's grandmother in 'The Back-Up Plan'

They are in "The Back-Up Plan," a romantic comedy from CBS Films that's scheduled for release in 2010.

Lavin, a Wilmington resident and actress best known for playing the title role in TV sitcom "Alice" and for Tony-winning performances on Broadway, has been in Los Angeles this month shooting scenes for the film. She'll return to L.A. later in June to shoot several more.

"I play (Lopez's) nana," Lavin said Thursday, reached while boarding a plane back to Wilmington, where she's directing David Mamet's play "Speed-the-Plow" for her and husband Steve Bakunas' Red Barn Studio.
The plot of "The Back-Up Plan" has J-Lo's character becoming artificially inseminated, immediately after which she meets the man of her dreams, played by Alex O'Loughlin of TV's "Three Rivers."
"He's just a hunk and a darling," Lavin said.

Commitment issues are at the heart of the script, and the young couple's situation is paired with a decades-long, marriage-less romance between's Lavin's character and her boyfriend, played by Tom Bosley (of "Happy Days" fame.)

Lavin said she likes the role she's playing: "It's very rare these days to find a movie role playing a woman of age where she's not being humiliated."
Plus, she's having fun. Lavin said she got to shoot a wedding scene that includes, for the movie's closing credits, a Bollywood-esque conga line.

"The Back-Up Plan" is the first screenplay from Kate Angelo, who has written for TV's "Will and Grace," "The Bernie Mac Show," and "Becker." It's being directed by Alan Poul, a producer and director for HBO series "Six Feet Under," among other projects.

That's just too cute! Gotta love Linda Lavin! And Tom Bosley, huh? That's the first I'd heard his name attached to the pic. I like him. Another great cast addition.

Now.....how many days left until the movie premieres?? :yahoo:

Thanks for the info, Jade!

A darling hunk---yep, sounds about right.

Saw a quick peek at BUP on the E channel yesterday---they were doing teasers to make the viewers think that JLo was preggers again--she was filming with her fake belly bump. No Alex in the clip. JLo was wearing a dress that looked like it would kind of bridesmaid-y. So, perhaps that is in reference to the wedding scene?

What does everyone think about Alex's wardrobe?

I'm really not happy with it, the untucked shirt is ok, but only if it's unbuttoned! I know they spent the entire wardrobe budget on JLo, but they could have done a MUCH better job on him. I'm starting to feel like they want to hide his spectacular bod, which would be a major waste.

I think it's just meant to make him look like a casual, working class guy. The untucked shirts don't bother me at all actually. In fact, in real life Alex wears a lot of untucked button downs and I ALWAYS think he looks hot! :yahoo:

I like him in casual stuff. He's one of those guys who doesn't have to try too hard to look good.

Wow. What a shocking statement that was, huh?!
