Cat:

This is pure magic--elegant simplicity of the casual flirtation of the early episodes. They were both 'all in' from the start yet they danced around their mutual attraction while at some level acknowledging it, at least to themselves.

Off the charts charming! They were both so in character here.

Fabulous reread.

I'm glad you liked it. It's nice to revisit the oldies, and remember the magic that was ML, especially at the beginning. The reason we fell in love with the show in the first place (much as I adore Josef now, it was Mickbeth that first captured me).

I just have to reread this one a LOT.

Seriously, Cat, you are the absolute queen of light, flirty MickBeth. You capture the charm of that stage like no one elseQQ

Thank you

Thanks for all the comments and giving up your time to reread my stuff. Wow, my first Mickbeth story and it's still getting read. Moonlight was something special. The quirky little show didn't garner huge attention, but it sure captured some of us in a unique way that even after all this time and only a few episodes, we're still here.

The Moonlight magic lives!

It is not merely alive, it's quite resilliant.

Thanks for writing wonderful fics like this one.

oh, cat, I would so much love to see Beth and Mick actually playing that scene... those phonecalls, the dialogue at his place and their promising parting at the end...It should have been of my favorites...

Cat

Just enjoyed this wonderful example of the Moonlight magic again and read the thread from beginning to end. Sometimes I forget that lots of you had been Moonlight fans for a year and a half when I saw my first episode.

I owe a lot to the talented fans who have written so much fabulous fic, sometimes I feel that I got my Season 2, even if it only played out in my head.

You have written this with the charm, elegance and flirtation that the writers and actors put into the show and I can so see this played out.

Thanks, Cat!

Jenna
