I was checking my Amazon account today because I couldn't remember the DVD release date (patience has never been my strong suit). The date? September 20th.
Another Alex day.

Not sure if this is the right place for this, but Eric Christian Olsen, the actor who played Clive (JLo's pet store friend that she tried to hornswoggle into donating sperm) is going to be a series regular in NCIS LA. He showed up in a couple of episodes this season, his function being the undercover LAPD detective that works with the NCIS types. Liked him better in NCIS LA than in BUP, although in all fairness, he didn't have much screen time in BUP.
The Futon Critic has the details

BUP just got a plug on the summer tv show, The Glades.
The show's cop was interviewing a murder suspect, who was using as his alibi his date night movie watching with his girlfriend... they preferred romantic movies..."The Back Up Plan, The Wedding Planner, anything with Sandra Bullock in it."
Of course he's claiming they watched it on DVD... so perhaps the cop should bust him for an illegal DVD.

I thought this was interesting. Glad that BUP made it out first. Nice mention of Alex's participation.

Thanks for sharing that, GA! Yeah, I'm very glad BUP came out first. And Alex is definitely one hot property... beach-front property, these days...

Well, they get the attraction. They didn't quite get Stan and why he stayed around. So they probably didn't get the whole concept of being in love. But, then again, romantic comedies have a hard time being taken seriously.
I'm glad that BUP came out first, too. And I think they are still very different films, as I got from the trailer and reviews the notion that Aniston's movie is more about the father-kid-relationship than about the troubles and toils of pregnancy.
