I'm concerned about that myself. While a lot of the episodes can have live donors bone marrow, liver etc, there will be a number of them that will also be dealing with deaths, i.e. Heart transplants. People want to be entertained especially on Sunday going back to work.

I also think Amazing Race is the wrong lead in for it. I love Amazing Race but have never liked medical procedurals. Also in January when football ends NBC will have Celebrity Apprentice in that time slot and I'm pretty sure most of the reality fans that may catch Three Rivers after AR will be shifting to Apprentice.

I'm hoping Three Rivers finds it's audience, it is definitely an alternative to Family Guy and Desperate Housewives. Let's keep our fingers crossed for Alex :fingerscrossed:

I've been a little concerned the last week or so that I'm not seeing ads for TR. Since May or so, whenever I'd see ads for The Good Wife or the new NCIS, Alex would not be far behind. Last week or so, there are three or four Good Wife ads and then a couple of NCIS and . . . no Alex. I've seen so many ads for The Good Wife I think I've already seen practically a whole episode. I know that they are starting earlier but still!

They should just go with these shots for promos, they show much better what the show is about, and have some really believable action and the whole cast in some of them.

I watched NCIS tonight and what I think is happening is that they're focusing on the new and returning series, most of which premiere next week.So tonight they had ads for The Good Wife, Accidentally on Purpose and NCIS, & NCIS LA. 3R is premiering a couple of weeks later. The other thing I've noticed is that during the season, the network will advertise shows that are a day or two later....so on Tuesday they'll promote Wednesday and Thursday shows, for example.

I wouldn't worry....as 3R premiere gets closer, there will be another onslaught of ads!!

ALEX O'LOUGHLIN, THREE RIVERS

On his new character, based on real-life doctor ''Gonzo'' Gonzalez Delinsky: ''There are musicians I love, or actors I love, but I've never been star struck by anyone. But this guy...I'm totally star struck by this guy. He saves three or four lives a day"

Looks like EW will be rationing Alex photos from that shoot to get more web hits...smart on them! :snicker:

This is surely not Alex's fault, but that pic looks like something out of TigerBeat. I mean, seriously? The cute little leg kick?

Alex has a new blog on MySpace - with a link to a 'behind the scenes' thing on YouTube

and he gives a shout out to his 'rad' fans - and talks about our love for his hair <GRIN>

I love him!
