Interesting article on Julia Ormond. No mention of Alex, but she does talk a bit about being cast as a lead in "Three Rivers".

It is one of those polls where you can vote many times; I find those to be so inaccurate. If someone has a beef with Alex for not doing ML instead

they might vote over and over to make the polls look negative.
After all the fiasco of ML polls , I wish these vote as many times as you like polls would go away. I voted once and I will not be pulled into that cycle any more!

No, I think you can vote only once. I just have to use two different browsers and in my excitement couldn't resist just this once so

. I typically don't get into the voting at all though, especially not the repetitious ones.

I just went back and voted again to test! I think it took it!
ETA: No, you are right! It looks like it does, but the count number didn't go up! *phew*

Oh. Maybe it's an only once daily poll.

I just hated that when I voted there were almost as many NO's as YES's about wanting to watch it.

Thank God the PTB don't look at these polls. If we learned anything from ML that is one of the things! Nothing put there will be of any importance.

NBC is scheduled to announced their infronts (new and returning series) on Monday (May 4). Why is this important to us? Because they're really high on a drama called "Trauma", a medical show similar to ER. Since CBS pilot "Miami Trauma" would be similar in its scope, it would seem to me CBS would not be too keen on picking it up because it would be two shows with the same medical theme (and almost the same name).

I was thinking the same thing, Amy, but thats an easy fix for CBS. All they'd have to do is change the name. As you know, Moonlight at first was called Twilight.

But there's been very little buzz surrounding Miami Trauma, while Three Rivers has been all of the place in recent weeks, thanks to the recen explosion of Alex interviews!

Excellent point. I haven't heard much at all about that series---have no idea who is starring in it or anything.
On the subject of 3R---I came across a book in the Chicago Tribune's weekly book review section that sounded intriguing. It's called "Cold Hands, Warm Heart"---It got a great review and here is one small part of the synopsis:
"The storytelling shifts focus frequently, with chapter told through the eyes of the medical caregiver and family and, eventually those who receive her (14 yr.old girl) organs."
Just thought this was timely given all the talk of Alex's show covering the same 3 viewpoints.
