Wow, I remember seeing still shots from the original pilot, but I don't remember seeing that promo before. I think even his voice is different! We surely would have had a totally different show, wouldn't we? I'm so glad they "revamped" it! (pun intended! )

MLC - Revamped. Love it!

The pilot show looked to be a bit grittier. It has it's own attractions. But I'm glad we wound up with the show we did. For one, we have Josef. Two, I didn't care for the original Beth. And three, I like Mick's hair longer and he looks older. Very shallow, I know. Hey, sue me.

GA~~no arguments from me--out of all of the looks Alex has worn during his various movies, etc. that is my least favorite. I am so glad that they 'revamped' (priceless, MLC!) his look. Is it just the hair that looks different? I am wondering if he was thinner as pilot-Mick. Doesn't seem as muscled as he does later.

Wardrobe, sideburns and length of hair look like the only differences to me.

I still think he looked like a hottie as baby Mick. Alex couldn't look bad in anything, IMO.

It is amazing what difference wardrobe, sideburns, and hair length make... and I find it fascinating to ponder the process they went thru to change Kevin Hiatt into Baby Mick and then into Perpetually Cool Mick... I have no idea how many people and how much time and trial and error that took, but they hit THAT nail on its gorgeous head by ep 1... THANK BOB!

And just had to agree with this GA... it has nothing to do with the first part of my post, but truer words just were never spoken and I couldn't leave them just hanging there... I hope serial killers have emotions too...
