Love seeing how happy and proud he is. Thanks so much

for the pics,
Alle, and can't wait to see the others.
What on earth did you say to elicit that crack-up as he's signing (I presume) your book? (JK. You don't have to share, but it looks like he really enjoyed it

).
And thanks for the recap of his comments.

I have a million questions (really?

), but will have to come back to post 'em this weekend when I have more time.

Actually, it was someone else's book, and I wasn't close enough to hear what made him laugh. But isn't it an adorable smile?
Oh - did I mention that he brought wine with Angel of Vengeance labels?!

(And he signed an empty one for me!)

I took home an empty bottle of the white (Chardonnay - the red was a Cabernet Sauvgnon.) By the way, the winery is Talmage Cellars.

Thank you so much for the pics Alle. I so much wanted to be there, but 3,000 miles was just a bit to far to just pop over for a quick meet.
I too thought Trever had a glass of blood on the table...geez now why would we think that?
How cool you were allowed to take home the "empty" bottle...what a great souvenir of the occasion besides seeing Trevor in person and getting him to sign your book.

Pssst....were you able to give him a HUG from us?

or would that have been to weird?
Oh...just wondering in that pic you snapped of the wine bottles is that a stack of AoV bookmarks just behind the water bottle?

I did give Trevor a HUGE hug for all of you. I don't have the picture yet, but my friend took two with her camera... so I'm hoping to post it soon. (Hmm... she hasn't e-mailed me yet. I should bug her.)
And yes, there were bookmarks!

I bought a couple of books and got a bookmark in each one.

Hey Alle is it possible to snap a pic of the signed bottle? I'd love to see it because I love living vicariously though my friends on the web

Oh
allegrita, I'm so happy you got to meet Mick's daddy.

That must have been exciting? I would have loved to come but if it wasn't for that large blue pond called the Pacific Ocean, I would be there in a heartbeat.
Other then not attending the M&G, I did, however, enjoy the book (got my copy in April) and all of you were right - it is
nothing like the series. But I eventually got used to the idea that the Mick in the book was dark, a drug addict and a former death row inmate, as opposed to the TV series were Mick had a happy, healthy upbringing in a middle-class family and was a war hero. But then again, I shouldn't compare the two. But I still like the character all the same, no matter how Trevor presents him.
Thank you,
allegrita for sharing the photo's.

First I wanted to mention that I went on Facebook and saw some posts about the book signing from a few names I recognize - mostly other Moonlight fans. But since I don't think anyone has mentioned this yet, one post I was particularly happy to see was the following:
"Sophia Myles Fabulous Mr Munson. I am in the UK otherwise I'd have been there to salute you! Speak soon, love Soph x x x"
Yes that was really nice of Sophia - and whether or not it is really her or someone who runs her Facebook page, I think it was great. I also wanted to mention (yes somewhat off the subject of the thread) that in my opinion Sophia seemed the most accessible of the major stars. Maybe it is because she wasn't as well known here, maybe other reasons but it is just this feel I have about her - having only seen her at Paley but just some things she said and others said about her. So good for her for still following Trevor's career.
And now one final thing - PNW Gal and maybe some others also mentioned it - I have not been able to bring my self to read Trevor's book. Yes I want to support him for many reasons and yes I find it refreshing that he directly Tweets people and uses Facebook and seems so nice, but Mick Angel is just too dark for me and it feels on some level disloyal to Mick St. John to read about this other Mick who has been in prison, etc. Maybe I am crazy and I agree this sounds crazy, but I haven't been able to get myself to turn the pages. Curious if anyone else feels like this?
