Yep..it looks like CBS is running about 40-45 mins behind schedule..just a head's up to reset your DVRs, folks!

Okay, I liked this week's episode a lot more than last week's. I was happy to have less high tech screens and I found Ryan charming tonight where he annoyed me last week. I'm guessing Dr. Andy is going thru a divorce or something because they keep harping on the hotel.
I liked the idea that the "bad" kid from Boston wound up helping to save the girl with his bruised lungs. I actually wish they had aired this episode last week.

Okay, initial impressions..I liked this ep both more, and less. Dr. Andy receives a personality transplant. Good.
But...let's throw in the gratuitous over-dramatization.
Spoiler:
ambulance held up by a bomb threat? donor killed by hit-and-run, turns out to be a murderer? sheesh.

ITA Cassy!! I loved this episode whereas I thought last week's was sorely lacking. This one completely rocked!! I'm thinking that CBS aired the "weaker" episode last week because they knew the ratings would founder due to the Steelers game. I hope this week's epi gets good ratings..it deserves them!!

Total agreement that this was a much better episode than last week. We got some character development and more of a team spirit.

Ahhh well......
Spoiler:
I was blocking out the ambulance held up by bomb threat. I didn't mind the murderer, I found it redemptive but the police in Boston were obnoxious

Let's forget last week's episode happened, shall we? LOL
I'm kidding, but man, was this a HUGE step up. The acting, guest actors, pacing, just so much better.
Nice of them to use Kate's voice for the "Stay tuned..." thingy at the end.
I missed the first 15-20 minutes (got a phonecall), so I need to go rewatch.
Spoiler:
The balcony scene and the "For the drinks?" "The organs." scene was so much better!! I hated the other balcony scene.
The bomb scare was kinda ridic, but it gave the others a chance to see how valuable Ryan is, I guess. You don't need to have medical training to use your brain.

ITA - this week's episode came across much better than last week's episode - pace was much less frantic and you got some of the character intros out of the way.
Spoiler:
right off the rip, you understood that Dr. Andy was having issues at home (living in hotel), but wants to work things out). Ryan is also introduced. (
If somebody finds out why in the name of all that is good and holy, TPTB decided to delay showing this episode, please let the rest of us know.

i LOVED this ep!
I only liked last week's, but I LOVED this week's. We got a little more info on all the docs, but mostly Andy, which as you all likely know, is fine with me. And I liked all the guest stars better. And Alex SO rocked Andy this week. Yay!
And Lucky is, as always, right. They had to throw in a gratuitous bomb threat and the donor HAD to be a killer... so yeah, over-done. But it didn't muck up the ep, IMO, and more importantly, didn't muck up the main characters. Hopefully Barbee will get this mess out of her system soon and it can settle into a normal frantic rhythm...
But I do NOT understand why they aired this ep second. Makes no sense. Why scare off a premiere audience with a sub par ep?? This one woulda made MUCH better reviews I think... but then I don't run a show nor a network... clearly. Or else we'd have the Alex channel... with special guest star... Jason. 24/7.

This is totally a guess. I'm wondering that they knew the second episode wasn't all that strong and because the Steelers were playing last week they knew they wouldn't get a big audience. They decided to keep the good episode for when more of the Pittsburgh people would watch it.
