Oooo -- very interesting analyses. This shot is actually about a second before he slammed Professor Ellis down on the table and went all "I smell her on you" on him. I've always found it fascinating that a frozen moment in time can suggest to us things that aren't apparent or even intended in the action it's taken from. To me, this shot is so much more thoughtful and reflective than what was happening in the show at that moment.

Oh, my gosh--I would never have guessed that this cap came from that scene!
