I miss Mick too. Actually I miss him now more than ever. And I still miss Moonlight as much as ever. And I swear too although 75 years probably is closer for me than a lot of others.
I posted on the Three Rivers Fans board, although my comments feel like they have been largely ignored which may be just as well, that people telling us that "we need to move on" feels like it is rubbing salt in a wound. It isn't helping. And it hurts when people who were members of a Moonlight board make negative comments about interviewers who still ask Moonlight related questions. I want Moonlight to still be talked about. Not because it will bring the show back but because the show was so very special I want to remember it always. I am not ready to move on and maybe never will be.
Yes I want Alex to be successful but I want that for all the cast members. While Alex is super good looking, has many many looks, and certainly has excellent acting chops, there are probably others out there like him who have never made it. I truly believe he made Mick but that Moonlight made Alex the almost hot actor he is today. And the fans helped. We helped a lot.
But it still hurts a lot when Nina said we were "actor centric" and not "Moonlight centric." Yes some of the actions of people make it seem like Nina may have been right on. But she wasn't right on about me. I loved it all - and Mick most of all.
Getting ready to cry again. Sorry.
