He realllly needs to get on-screen, so we can be distracted. I most definitely plan to be distracted... how long now until April 29??

Guess J Lo was cast for this movie back on December 16, 2008. The writer who came up with this possible plotline is pretty funny.

CBS Films, noticing a glaring fertility-themed romantic comedy hole in next year's schedule, has signed Jennifer Lopez to star in just such a film:

"Jennifer Lopez has signed on to star in the fertility-themed romantic comedy "Plan B" for CBS Films.

Penned by Kate Angelo, story centers on a single woman (Lopez) who turns to artificial insemination to answer her ticking biological clock only to meet the man of her dreams on the same day as her positive pregnancy test results.

OK, so she's pregnant, like she wanted, and now she's apparently fallen instantaneously in love. What's the issue? That she fears her perfect man would hate any child not born of his seed? That she now loathes the baby growing inside her because it's not spawned from her sudden crush? If that's the case, then still, what's the plot? Jennifer Lopez contemplating if having an abortion after artificial insemination would be too much of a waste of money? I feel like I've already given this premise more critical thought than its writer probably did.

Is there a way this makes an obvious romantic comedy plot that I'm missing?

And I agree....let's stay out of Alex's personal life and actually let the man breathe a bit after breaking up with someone he's been with for over 2 years. Poor thing might want to run wild and date every available starlet in Hollywood! Who knows, right? So if Sophia and even Shannyn want to jump into that line up, have at it! It might get crowded though.

Our guy needs a break and this movie with JLo could be the exposure he needs to start getting offers for more serious roles, more in keeping with his excellent education in the finer arts of acting at NIDA.

Drag...Yes...every actor has to go thru their "drag" period....

Who can forget "To Wong Fu" with Wesley Snipes (another Vampire) Patrick Swayze and John Leguizzamo?

As for Plan B. Hmm, Sophia's photo of Alex's belching belly showed he can handle being in a comedy. The producers want to draw the male viewers and not make this movie into a chick flick, so I'm thinking along the line of belching, burping, barfing and flatulence jokes...

So it looks like this Plan B movie will be a laugh-out-loud comedy. I can't see J Lo in a LOL comedy... Romantic comedy, yes, but not LOL comedy. But it could be some LOL humor along the line of Will & Grace comedy.

Like the funny scenes when Will (who's gay) tried to give Grace a hand with a leaky bra.
