Wouldn't it be nice to work in the make-up department for just one day and get to apply the dirt smudges all over him?

Sadly I am a fanwuss.

Not only could I not take the pressure of touching him, for application purposes or otherwise, but I am pretty sure I would only choke up and possibly become mute if I were ever even to be near him.

So, i'm perfectly happy cheering him on from the sidelines...

That's what we're here for grace, to jump in and help our fellow members. If you are unable to fulfill the smudge/dirt duty, we will sacrifice ourselves for the cause and then report back to you and others in great detail.
