In a clip, we saw him telling a guy that he was a real screw-up and had to turn his life around. He's from a rough part of town and his former friends give him loads of crap for having "sold out." Yeah, there's potential there. I'm willing to give him a chance to show me Andy's flaws, and if he does it playing rugby and hanging out in casual clothes in his (not so) copious spare time, well... I like to swim in the shallow end of the pool from time to time, as long as I know there's a deep end to explore as well. :hearts:
Just wanted to point out that WE know so much about Andy because we're die hard Alex fans and have read every word we could find about TR. The average person coming upon TR flipping through the channels was not going to know all that interesting stuff which made Andy pretty flat. I'm wondering if the real first episode would have dealt more with Andy and that the second episode was just moving on to Miranda.

If the first episode showed Andy was human, it would have made the speech by the immigrant about the "great Andy Yablonski" SO much more ambivalent and interesting.

So here's the good news... People magazine apparently DOES know that Alex exists, as they have reviewed 3R and noted that Alex is the star.

Bad news of course is that they called the show DOA. Same complaint we have. Andy is supposedly a rock star surgeon, but we know nothing about him other than his name. WHY DID THEY PICK THAT EP AS THE FIRST EP???? :noway:

Now here's the, to-me, annoying news... They also note that he was ahead of the vamp curve as the star of Moonlight, specifically the failed but intriguing Moonlight. Where was their intrigue regarding the show when the show was actually still a bleepin' show????? If they had noted their intrigue THEN... maybe had a little photo piece of our vamps, maybe ONCE noted Alex in the most sexy or most beautiful or best bachelors or any other best issue in which he clearly congenitally belongs... maybe the intriguing Moonlight would not be also the failed Moonlight!

Rant over. :blushing: I actually HAVE made my peace with the demise of the intriguing Moonlight... Hypocrisy, I still wrestle with...

And pssst, Fleur... I am totally sitting here in the shallow end of the pool, honey.

The drink, yeah.... I chucked the little umbrella... just gets in the way. And I made a pitcher, so wade in Lucky... :smooch:

I'm thinking we should all just get into one of those zero depth pools with a cooler of cocktails----shallow and safe!

Yes, I saw it, too. It had several reviews in the ad saying it's riveting and so on. One was from In Touch. So apparently it has good reviews.

I've just posted this on the Three Rivers site.
It's about 3r's but mentions Moonlight.
Read it and go grrrrrrrr....!
I did!

Ok Ladies, get ready to be outraged!!!
And this is more about Moonlight than anything else, but I couldn't let it pass, had to show ya'all.
This is a heads up regarding a new show called Three Rivers ( anyone heard of it..... )
It's in the major paper in our area's TV guide.
Ozbella would be familiar with it.
I've underlined the relevent word.
At least the reviewer sounds fairly positive about TR's.
And is impressed with Katherine.

Eh, well, as I posted above, People apparently thought ML was intriguing. So this individual apparently never saw it and is just reacting to it being a vamp show or something, which he probably doesn't like...

...and I think your media is a bit hard on Alex, btw. Who'd he tick off down there??? :snicker:

I think that writer just didn't get their words right, they surely wanted to say "awesome" and not "abysmal". Abysmal maybe as in "very deep". :tomato:

Ah Grace! You're pushing my conspiracy theory buttons........
I've been known to wonder that myself. :chin:
