Okay, I'm on the East Coast and a 8:00 pm EST, I've got Rules of Engagement. At 8:30 I've got Old Christine. Then Criminal Minds, then CSI-NY. I think its a safe bet that CBS will air the President's news conference at 8:00 pm EST, pre-empting the two comedies. Criminal Minds and CSI: NY will be shown at their regular times. They may run a bit behind, so I'm going to adjust my DVR just in case. But I'm confident that Criminal Minds will air. Who really cares about these two comedies anyway?

According to the AP News Wire its 8:00 pm EST. I know his previous couple of news conference have also been at 8:00 pm EST, so it makes sense. 8:00 pm is the perfect time, not too early, not too late. And it would work okay for the other time zones, I would think.

Please tell me the newscasters yapping after the president finishes speaking won't eat up the first 15 min of the show...one of those wanna blow your brains out and now we continue with our show already in progress messes.

I'm hoping if the press conference runs long, then we'll get the entire show, just delayed a bit. It would be cruel beyond words to rejoin the show already in progress. CBS's switchboard would light up like a Christmas tree!

Oh Raven! Scary thought. I am thinking if it comes to the dreaded "analysis" after the speech, all shows will be delayed.
