I loved this story! I think Mick in spite of his vampire status for all intents and purposes was still very much human which is rare. At least in the vampire community. Heck humanity is rare for humans most of the time!

There is far less 'humanity' among us 'humans' than Mick gives us credit for in Moonlight.

Funny you should say that. I wasn't always a vampire fan. Mick and Josef 'snuck up on me' with all that charm and I never had a chance. To me, vampires just weren't very interesting until Moonlight, when their situation became (apologies to Josef, he wouldn't be too happy with this statement) just an odd branch of the human family tree. I still miss it.
