I just had a weird conversation with a friend... while comparing our, ahem, "should be old enough to know better by now" mid-life-but-feels-like-16-again celebrity crushes (hers is a musician) , I made this rather bombastic statement and thought I should share it here:

If all the fighting people in the world would just spend an hour in our Alex thread, there would be peace on earth!

I think I might actually have overreached a tad.

But then, scrolling through here bucks me up again. Yes, peace on earth.
