There once was a show called Moonlight
That filled me with such lovely delight
Its star Mick was a vampire
For him I did so desire
How I wish it were on every night!

Here's one for Mick:

A vampire with wit, class, and style,
Who cloaks his regrets in a smile -
He yearns to be human,
His dark to illumine,
And gets his wish... for just a while.

So, I didn't quite make the deadline for the day (just woke up after a lovely pain-killer nap ).

These are all brilliant! (Special shout-out to Lucky for the snarky one, and to Lilly for "room service Beth" .) I love limericks!

Anyway, I thought of one, and then it lead to another:

There once were two vampires, Mick and Josef
Whose tastes were as refined as any good chef’s
They could be so chivalrous,
And weren’t too carnivorous
Except for the blood of the not dead

There once were two hotshots among us
Who were strangely not too omnivorous
They woke late at night
To give blokes a fright
Hissing “It is so on!” with a relish

Can you tell I woke up hungry?

And tried to live his 'life' almost bloodless
He briefly became famous
Had a wife who was grievous
But then met the fair Beth, who was wondrous

The Kostanites come out to play
While MickBeth shippers make with the hay
Whatever your needs
MLA certainly exceeds
As we bask in the fic, snark and interplay

My dear Coraline, you’re nightmarish
Sometimes you can be downright childish
You stalked my best girl
‘til she dervishly whirled
And staked you with quite the big flourish

I have really loved reading all the limericks, and I hope we do keep writing them, They're a blast! Kinda, I don't know... addictive.

Good one, Francis. I do believe that's the first time I've seen a snarky Haiku.

I'm kinda with you... I like Haiku (love Red's), but I just adore the rhythm and humor of limericks.

This is very late, but...

Coraline's gift was a dud.
The wedding night toasted in blood.
Then Mick found that his Beth
Eased the pain of undeath.
Which left Coraline feeling like crud.
