Thank you so much for reading this little Moonlght Christms card.

Many of us have see the same thing--that lovely little cyclical truth. So much focuses on that moment when Mick turned his back on the lifestyle Coraine offered and he started the journey toward being the perpetually cool P.I.

jen, this was delightful. Pure delight. :hearts:

I enjoyed this part especially:
She could go anywhere, and could live life quite free
Of all complications, restrictions, and…me.

But she smiled, simply kissed me, and said 'course I'll go'
Like a foregone conclusion, something that I should know.
I'd grown used to losing--it was a surprise
To find much I thought gone--shining there in her eyes
I think it points out how Mick is constantly surprised by how much Beth is willing to give and how much she cares. *sigh* So sweet.

Thanks you.

Thank you so much for reading. That is high praise indeed coming from you!

It is one of those points that was so very interesting to me about Moonlight--Mick St. John is such an engaging, attractive character that just exuded effortless charm (yeah, I was impressed with Mick) but all of those factors that we stress over seem to have been relegated to the 'totally unimportant' column by him.

He adored Beth, not because she was gorgeous (and she was-I have to guess that it helped) and who can forget that look on his face at the end of NSTAV when he hugged Beth and at the end of OOTP when he confessed what he was.

He was surprised when she returned his affection.

I know--there she goes again.

Anyway, thank you very much for reading and commenting!

Oh, then you ARE a poet, Jenna. Lovely, a poem and a Mickbeth and a Mick 's POV all in one dose...some vamps get to celebrate Christmas, after all.... :flowers:

Wow! Look at you! You have gone through most of my office in less than a day. I thought I was one of the only folks who reads Christmas stories off season so thank you for reading my Christmas poem in early March!

If you are not totally burned out on my stuff, I wrote an exposition of this poem called, Together--Christmas at the Cabin that goes into more detail but, of course, totally your call.

Thanks for reading and commenting!

Thanks, Maggatha!

Yeah...that's me. Shameless self promotion, but I thought it fit with the season.

One of the wonderful things about Moonlight is thar it lets us share that wavelength and enjoy the warmth and joy of Mick, Beth, Josef and the others. What a fabulous show it was!!!

You're just the best!!!

Thank you!
