The Logan Lovers AND San Diego Comic Con packages were both gone within 10 minutes. I was dithering over whether I should get the SDCC package, and then it just disappeared on me. So I guess my decision was made for me, by being indecisive.

Oh my gosh, folks. They might just make their goal of most contributors ever! They've just hit 85,930 members with about 8 hours to go!

I've had my eye on it off and on all morning. For most of yesterday and overnight, they had been averaging a need for 200-220 new backers per hour. Right now, they only need to average about 150 per hour to do it. (They've actually been getting more new backers per hour as time go on!)

I really thought this goal was out of reach, but I truly think they're going to do it. And top $5.5 million while they're at it.

The Kickstarter record for most backers has not only been broken -- it's been shattered!




And there are still over 7 hours to go! This is amazing. 87,210 and counting...

Kristin tweeted that she liked the idea of pulling the plug when they hit 90909 backers because it's symbolic.

I don't think it's possible to do that, unfortunately. They've passed 90909 and are up to 91119 and $5,679,992, with 30 minutes to go.
