Guys, if you haven't already joined the Facebook page, please do so. They're trying to get to 2000 members by the end of the week.

Have I told you lately that you're awesome. Much love to you, and your family at this time as well hon.

You are simply one of the most amazing people I have ever had the privilege of knowing. In the midst of chaos and grief you focus on the future and every positive moment of every breath.
Jason is a wonderful human, and it sounds like the rest of the crew were magical as well. But you lady, shine like a beacon with you grace and style.
My thoughts are with you,
MS
MS - I don't even now how to respond to this. Thank you.

I can tell you that if it hadn't meant so much to my son, I probably wouldn't have followed through. It's a "mom" thing, I guess.

Assuming I wasn't passed out on the floor, unable to get my wallet out, YES!

You more than deserve them

And that was just such a totally amazing, nice things for the SFS guys to do, I really hope everything works out for them, they really deserve it.

I wish I could do that Kickstarter pledge thing to help them out (not sure if I'm allowed to link to it on here), I know they have minimum pledges of $5, and five bucks might not sound like a lot of money, but right now, for us, that 5 bucks could be the difference between food on the table, or going hungry. As it is I've gotta go begging money off my Mum later today to pay for my pain meds. Eh, I shouldn't complain, others are doing it way worse than we are. Geez, now look who's bringing the tone of this thread down.

Seriously though, I'm really glad you had such a nice time, and I will be keeping all available extremities crossed that this movie gets made!

I posted this back on page 6, but it certainly doesn't hurt to repeat it...
Lilly wrote:I just want to post the link to Kickstarter.com where director Andrew Disney is raising funds for the project. This is a great opportunity to get involved and they are repaying the kindness with perks at the various levels of donation. You can get everything from a "Best Friend" certificate to tickets to the world premiere!

Searching for Sonny on Kickstarter
And,
Em, everyone contributes in their own way. I believe the support you've given the film in terms of spreading the word on every possible venue is probably worth more to these guys right now than a monetary donation. Don't worry -- this film will get made. We just have to make sure it gets SEEN.

Thanks Lilly

There's just one more area I need to spread the word to, and that's the Moonlight Slash community. Like I mentioned to Anita over on the FB page, it is pretty much a no go to bring any actorcentric stuff into the community, so I'll have to see if I can get special permission from the Admins. I'm pretty sure they'd allow it, just as a once off, although then again I don't want to set any sort of precedent where all of a sudden it's cool to be dragging actor stuff into our world.

I have to admit, I've been needing to think on this a fair bit. On the one hand I'm not that comfortable doing it, I did send out a bulletin to the members of my Josef/Mick MySpace community, but it's not something I would ordinarily do, not without a damn good reason (like helping to promote Searching for Sonny

), then again on the other hand the ML Slash community does have 290 members, and a fair few of those aren't necessarily involved with other areas of the ML (or VM for that matter) fandom. So it would be an opportunity to reach a few more people. It's just, you know, actorverse, slashverse, not really too comfortable with those areas crossing ways.
I need to think on it some more.
