So. It's raining here today. Like...POURING down rain, with thunder and lightning. I was going to bitch and moan about it, and then I remembered this:




I love the way Alex celebrated the rain, and decided to do it, too. I got SOAKED and my hair looks like total crap today, but...I put away my umbrella and celebrated the rain, too. Because it's good to be alive to celebrate it, no matter how crappy life gets.

And just one more reason to love Alex - for teaching me to celebrate the rain.

Oh honey, what a lovely thing to do. Thank you, Alex. We can all stand to do a lot more embracing and a lot less grumbling.

Ahh, PNWgal!! We used to do exactly what Alex does back at school when we had the chance to have some rain during breaks!! And I fell for him once again when I saw that amazing photo..Isn't it just like Alex to react like that?

It's not always easy, believe me.

And...just when I think I can't love the man more, he does something like embracing the rain at the blessing. He just never ceases to surprise me.
