I'm sorry to hear about your F-I-L Lilly. He sounds like he was a wonderful man.
Is that house close to TCU? (I can't believe you were practically in my back yard!) It was wonderful of Mr. Disney to welcome you and your kidlet in like that.

Lilly,
What a week for you! Sounds like a wonderful experience for you and your son and the Pics are great (all except for that little obstruction). Please accept my condolences for your father in law.

Lilly....
Up and down... wow... that's such the story of moms and families, isn't it?
But you handle pressure, sorrow, and joy with SUCH grace... you always do. And now have done once again.
And I know that the 10 minutes with Jason made your day, week, month... year?
But I think you made his too.

I'm so sorry about your father-in-law, Lilly. But you had such a great time with Jason, it was worth all the hassle, I guess. And I agree that Jason really appreciates having a fan for life who makes that kind of effort. Thank you so much for giving us your report.

Lilly I am very sorry for your loss but I definitely think you made the right decision in going. I am glad you and your son were welcomed and a positive experience could be had at a sad time for your family.

Thank you all for your condolences and kind words.

Ordinarily I wouldn't have brought down the level of excitement on the thread with my own personal drama, but I felt that just this once it was important to give you all the context of my visit.
eris -- The house is located about midway between TCU and the Ol' South Pancake House.
On Saturday, Christopher and I slept in and then headed to the Ol' South for breakfast. While we were enjoying our omelet and signature German pancakes (I have no idea if they are really German, but the were delicious.

), I managed to figure out which booth they used for the scene where Elliot, Calvin and Gary discuss the unfolding mystery.
Here it is... Booth #203
They've removed the number from the edge of the table, but it's the one right next to #202.
And while we're visting the Ol' South, don't miss Nick's informational video on Facebook:

Actually, I sat in Nick's seat.
I had already leaned on
Jason -- so the wall didn't seem quite so interesting at that point...

You're improving your detective skills, Lilly. With Moonlight, you photographed the locations after the show aired. Here, you visit and photograph the locations even before the movie is ready!!!

Thanks,
francis -- I couldn't help myself.
Here's one more location we visited: the Old Historic Electric Building on the corner of Lamar and W. 7th Street in Fort Worth. It was used, I believe, for Elliot's NY apartment building.
From the Searching for Sonny FB page: Red on the corner of Lamar and W. 7th...
From our visit on Saturday...
The front of the building...

What a great experience for you and the kid, Lilly...and it sounds like he did you proud.
And how is it possible to be even MORE impressed with Jason? I just admire that young man so much.

What to say...
You are simply one of the most amazing people I have ever had the privilege of knowing. In the midst of chaos and grief you focus on the future and every positive moment of every breath.
Jason is a wonderful human, and it sounds like the rest of the crew were magical as well. But you lady, shine like a beacon with you grace and style.
My thoughts are with you,
MS
