I remember responding to this question on MLL last April.
It's still the same answer.

I will forever hold Mr Alex O'Loughlin in great affection for giving us Mick St John in his physical form.
And I will follow his career with interest and pride.
But for me its all about the fantasy, the fairytale that is MickBeth, first and foremost, and all the other characters that are along for the ride.
Plus the Fanfic - The Wonderful Addiction.
Alex, God love him, he's not in the fanfic.

There is no Mick without Alex, you do realize that, don't you?

I prefer the very alive Alex to the admittedly delicious and mysterious undead Mick. That laughter is infectious.
And the way he is talking with his hands, irresistable.

The plan amongst those of us who pick Alex is NOT to try to influence the Mick-pickers... that leaves more Alex for us, K?

But we'll share him with you...

The man has complexities that we have just begun to enjoy.

Although I have enjoyed every incarnation he has brought to us in his "body" of work....I look forward to seeing bigger and more profound performances from him.

Since we have some new members, I thought I'd bump this poll.

It's been 2 years since this poll was started and we've seen Alex in a few other roles in the interim. Just wondering, for those of you who have already voted, would any of you change your vote now?

In the interest of full disclosure, I voted for Mick and nothing has changed for me.

Not changing my vote - it's still Mick who holds my heart...
