This is an insightful and enlightening. You know, as often as I watch that scene I'm so wrapped up on Mick and his dying and self-loathing I barely think much about how Beth is feeling. Well, past her just not wanting him to die and nervous about having him feed from her. But this goes so much deeper.
I offer myself to him and watch the horror spread across his sickly face. He is appalled, disgusted at what he must do to survive.
Pretty ironic, isn't it? She should be appalled at the idea of feeding a vampire but she's okay with it - whatever keeps him alive. And he, who should be more worried about staying alive, is appalled. But it's hard to deny the vamp when it's sucking on her arm.
Motels on the mind, Red? Do tell.
