I think in Moonlight, even more than other shows and with Josef and Mick in particular, the mannerisms are integral to the characters. Those little motions tell so much about them and make them ever so much more endearing. In writing, for me, it makes you feel closer to the character to recognize these little habits. So I really, REALLY appreciate that you feel the same.
