Beg to differ, Sweetie, but I think you DO deserve that 'superb' and I'm not the only one.

I totally agree that we have writers around here who routinely blow me away with their talent. They effortlessly produce fabulous stories with intricate, wonderful plots, excel at putting our favorite characters in intriguing situations and achieve an emotional honesty and depth that I aim at and never manage to achieve, but this is really, really good.

this was amazing, fleur! you really had me.... I was there, I could feel what she was feeling. wonderful.

I came back for a re-read, it is my story after all, I can come and go as I please, right?? Fleur, it is a wonderful story, so passionate and yet so very real. I love it!!

Loved this line, because that's exactly how I felt when I met Alex. (And apparently I cannot speak in his presence, either, despite being given ample opportunity. At least not anything coherent. )

This is just a delicious description of quite possibly the most beautiful vampire ever, and fit what I would think Beth's thoughts would be should she ever get Mick naked for the first time. Or the second. Or hell, the millionth.

HM and PGal--I pretty much placed my thoughts in Beth's head during this. I imagine any woman with a pulse (& quite a few without) would be so overcome just from the sheer thought alone of Mick being naked and in one's presence. Add kissing, touching and lovemaking to the mix? Well, it's amazing that any heart could stand it. And he adores her. Honestly, I don't know how the girl didn't just pass out!!
