No snacks, but a stiff drink won't hurt...

Yes, not for the overly faint of heart and, as Alex himself admitted, only a B grade film.
But his acting is impressive, IMO at least, and VERY different from anything else we've seen him in.
So it is fascinating to see HIM, being SOOOO not him. So not Mick. So not Andy. Not even Vincent... no no no...
Yet with some still recognizable expressions and moves...
So yeah, some scary and some gross... but we'll hold hands here...

I'm kinda excited about this - out of all Alex's work, I think he really shows his acting depth in playing Michael. It's sexy and frightening and disturbing all at the same time.
That's right around dinner time for me, so I think I'll just be waiting to eat anything until the movie's over. There's a couple of places I watch through my fingers, and one place in particular that makes me gag, so I want NO food near me until it's over.

Michael is a favorite character of mine. Alex...and yet, not Alex. The blond hair, the hairless chest, (ouch) the GGs. He is absolutely amazing in this character, and it shows that he is game for anything. I must be jaded because this movie doesn't bother me at all. Morbid, I know. Maybe it's because Alex is in it. Might not feel this way if any other actor played the part.

I'm in. I had a similar experience to P'Gal's....the first time I watched it, I missed half the movie 'cause my eyes were closed. However,

I gotta admit that made a difference to moi, also.
Had she really been that large and unhealthy, it woulda made me feel MUCH more voyeuresque... like Michael's own subscribers. Ew.
To know it wasn't really "her"... helped. I could then appreciate that, like Alex, she was acting.

For anyone who's going to watch this, if you haven't already, take a look at the deleted scenes. The one where Alex plays a second character, Dak Strummer (which I think was actually Michael), might have helped the continuity of the movie had it been left in.

Not my favorite movie (with Alex or otherwise) but I'm game. This should be very interesting.
Forgive me if I'm just being dense, but where is it being shown? Where do I watch it?

It isn't being aired anywhere, I'm afraid, honey, so you'll need to buy/rent your own copy to join in. We shall be synchronising watches and hitting the play button across continents and time zones...GuardianAngel wrote:Not my favorite movie (with Alex or otherwise) but I'm game.
