The final group of celebrities has been announced and....

Jason WILL be playing in this year's BMW Charity Pro-Am! It's scheduled for May 13 - 16, 2010.


FoxCarolina News is reporting...

A star-studded line-up has been announced for this year’s BMW Charity Pro-Am.

Samuel L. Jackson, TV personality Dr. Phil McGraw, actor and Charleston native Thomas Gibson and Don Felder, former lead guitarist for the Eagles, are among the final commitments for the 10th annual BMW Charity Pro-Am tournament.

A field of 28 celebrities will participate in the tournament to be played May 13-16 at Bright’s Creek Golf Club, The Carolina Club and Thornblade Club golf courses.

Returning celebrities include actors Dennis Quaid, Jason Dohring, Lucas Black, Luke Wilson, actress Catherine Bell, Baseball Hall of Fame member Jim Rice and Heisman Trophy winner George Rogers.

Others to appear include actors Kurt Russell, Terry O’Quinn, Oliver Hudson, Michael Pena, Patrick Warburton, Kevin Sorbo, Gary Valentine and actress Paula Trickey; musicians Joe Don Rooney, Branford Marsalis and Javier Colon; Clemson Football Coach Dabo Swinney.

Now, who do we have to bribe at Golf Channel to actually SHOW SOME FOOTAGE of him playing this year????

Because we, uh, want to study his golf technique and form....

I don't know, but the guy I sent all those unmarked bills to last year sure didn't come through for us.

I think we need to take a vacation and VOLUNTEER to work the Pro-AM. All these events run on volunteer labor.
Can you imagine working for 4-5 days in his vicinity???

They do rely heavily on volunteers, many of whom come from the charities which are benefited. Unfortunately, I don't think you get to pick where you're assigned.

well, no...but if you factor 18 holes and 4 or 5 days you'd catch him a few times (I see a great comedy in the style of FAN BOYS)

It would certainly be an awesome potential for merriment and mayhem...

Well, except it's 54 holes -- spread over 3 golf courses each day...

Umm....yeah...I need to study his technique and form.... I mean, how else am I going to learn golf??

I would think this would be an awesome opportunity to see him... they letcha get pretty close at tournaments, no??
